Placement and personal guidance
Live-in care in your own home
Live-in care provides support in familiar surroundings. Betreuen365 places suitable carers and guides you personally from the first enquiry through to the start – locally, clearly and reliably.
When can live-in care be suitable?
Live-in care can be a suitable option when regular everyday support is needed and the person wishes to remain in their own home.
Simple personal everyday activities
Depending on the need, suitability and contractual agreement, the carer can assist with simple personal everyday activities.
Household, organisation and companionship
Important to know
Live-in care does not mean uninterrupted work around the clock and does not replace medical treatment care. If permanent support during the night or close medical monitoring is required, additional or different forms of care are necessary.
Requirements in the household
The conditions must be clarified before the start so that the carer can provide good support while having appropriate accommodation and rest.
Individual costs instead of a fixed price
Costs are calculated individually because support needs, the agreed scope and organisational circumstances vary. After a personal consultation, you receive a transparent cost estimate – without obligation and without hidden promises regarding reimbursement.

Frequently asked questions about live-in care
Find the most important answers about tasks, requirements, costs and the placement process.
- What does live-in care mean?
- With this form of care, a carer lives in the household for an agreed period and provides everyday support according to the individual need and contractual agreement. The term describes the living and care arrangement, not uninterrupted working hours.
- Does the carer actually work around the clock?
- No. Agreed working hours, rest periods and time off also apply when a carer lives in the household. Permanent availability or uninterrupted care is not intended.
- Which tasks can the carer undertake?
- Depending on the need, suitability and agreement, the carer can assist with simple personal routines, meals, shopping, laundry, light household tasks, mobility, appointments, walks, companionship and daily structure.
- Which tasks are not included?
- Medical treatment care, heavy cleaning, gardening, renovation work and tasks for other household members are not part of live-in care. The carer also does not provide uninterrupted night duty.
- When is an additional home nursing service needed?
- A professional home nursing service may be needed when medical or qualified nursing tasks are required. This can include prescribed treatment care, wound care or injections. The specific need should be assessed professionally.
- What requirements must the home meet?
- A private furnished room, access to a bathroom and kitchen, Wi-Fi and meals are required. Privacy, agreed rest periods and clearly defined tasks and responsibilities are equally important.
- How are the individual costs calculated?
- Relevant factors include the support needed, agreed tasks, mobility, preferred language skills, the living arrangements and further organisational requirements. You therefore receive an individual cost estimate after the personal consultation.
- Can long-term care insurance provide financial support?
- Depending on the recognised care level and personal circumstances, long-term care insurance benefits may contribute to financing care at home. Betreuen365 cannot promise full or specific reimbursement. Please obtain binding information from your care insurance fund.
- How does the placement process work?
- After your enquiry, we clarify the care needs and living arrangements, prepare a suitable proposal and explain the costs. You then get to know the carer and agree the details. Betreuen365 supports the preparation and remains your point of contact.
- How quickly can care begin?
- The possible start depends on complete information, the support needs, living arrangements and the availability of a suitable carer. The specific start date is available on request.
